![]() Hey guys, I just got my new engine and getting it together and I got it bored out and put in new crower rods and JE pistons 8.5:1. To top it off I've got my XS Engineering turbo on it so this thing should be hitting high horsepower. I'm looking at a new clutch and am curious who you guys recommend for around a 300+HP engine. I'm looking at ACT right now but want your advice. Let me know.

Get the ACT, it holds up pretty good! I love it.

How hard is the engagement on the 4 puck or 6 puck ACT clutch as opposed to the Street disc? I want something that is also practical or everyday driving. Anyone been there with these two ACT clutches?
I'll look into Spec 2 as well...Thanks.

I have a street disk ACT and it's as smooth as stock, or nearly. I'm pushing 12 psi on a s15 t28 turbo on my s13 blacktop and the clutch doesn't slip.

Whatever you do, don't get a Centerforce, it truly is a piece....It's slipping already, and i've only had it for about 18,000 miles...I've heard nothing but rave reviews about the ACT street clutch...
