![]() I've had my system in my car for about a month or so, but I haven't been able to find a good spot to skrew it down at. I used to use the strap in my hatch to strap it down. But, that strap would come loose alot and it keeps sliding around. Any suggestions?

Since the back seat in our hatches is pretty much useless for more than one person back there take our your back seat and bolt it down!

I use the sunroof straps and a bit more cable to tie it securely. It did the trick, you just need to take the slack out of the sunroof straps.

Thanks for the suggestions. I thought about velcrow, but now I am leaning to making a frame with some left over piece of MDF from a previous job around the bottom of my box and wedging it around my car to keep it from sliding around. I was thinking about carpetting it and putting my amp on it, and maybe put a cap on it.

its called velcro, no W.
Anyway my first box I built to slide under the strut tower bar and lock in place, which worked really well. It was in the way though, so I am building my next one to velcro into the quarter panel behind the driver's side wheel well. |

cut a piece of ply wood into the size shape of the false floor covering the donut, and screw the box to this

keep in mind whatever you use to secure your box is what is going to be keeping it in place in the event of a collision or rollover.
unless, of course, the thought of 50lbs of wood smashing your skull sounds nice. |

exactly
buy a $5 piece of ply wood, cut it in the shap of the false floor in your trunk/hatch --------- / \ | | | | -------------- it wil not slide into the fron due the shape hitting the strut towers when moving forward
