z32 high idle

i have a high idling problem on my z32. i have changed the iacv and cleaned it out and even turned the valve all the way closed and the lowest it stills goes is around 900. and re did the plugs for the iacv sensors and used dielectric grease. I re did the timing on it thinking that would change it, but it didnt. nothing really seems to be helping. I cant figure out why it is idling so high? i have to get it to the recommended 700 to pass smog

I can't remember if the VG30 has an IAA unit like the KA does, but if so, replace it. On KAs that's usually the cause of a high idle.

So both the IACV and IAA are brand new?

Don't know what else to tell you. Scan through the FSM for possible symptoms.
