This is really making me mad. I have a Redtop SR and I can't pull my oil pan off. I took all 10 bolts off the bottom and it doesn't come off I tried everything. I need to pull it off so I can check my oil pump. I don't think it is working because I am getting no oil in my head. Now I need new cams.

I just pulled my oil pan off yesterday. You need to find a flat piece of metal to wedge in btw in order to break the seal from the liquid gasket. I used a kitchen knife and a rubber mallet...worked great!

My problem now is that I am stuck on the main oil pan (the one with ~18 bolts or so).

Thanks for helping me out. I got my pan off now. Problem is my pump is working so I have a clog somewhere in between my pan and filter because my oil light comes on.
