FS/FT 1993 Widebody RX7 Single Turbo LS6

FS/FT 29,000.00

Up for sale is my red 1993 Widebody RX-7 Single Turbo LS6, title in hand. I have posted this car for sale a few times in various stages of completion and now I want to move on to another project. If I don’t sell this in a month then it will be under the knife again, as usual.

Now on to the car; the chassis has about 83,000 miles on it and the engine is from a 2004 Zo6 corvette with about 15,000 miles on it. I had a shop install a rear mount turbo with a fuel cell because at the time I was in between a move and didn’t have access to a storage garage with power. The car was dyno tuned last week by a reputable tuner in the area and at 8 lbs of boost it made 430 rwhp.

The rear mount setup is on its own oiling system with a pushing pump as well as a scavenge pump so I do not rely on engine oil at all. There are a few chips in the paint and the rear wheels have a few spots of curb rash on them. The paint job was done about a year and a half ago and overall I’d say it’s about an 8 on a scale of 1-10. The parts list is below which doesn’t include misc AN lines and other stuff…

~83,000 miles on chassis, 2004 ZO6 LS6 with ~15,000 miles, 1998 T-56 with ~80,000 miles, LS7 Flywheel and Clutch, Vindicator Cam and Supporting Valve Train, Nick Williams 90mm Throttle Body, LS2 Intake Manifold, 60lb injectors, Hinson Radiator, Hinson Clutch Line Kit, Hinson K Frame Hinson Torque Arm, Tein HE Coilovers, Enkie Wheels, KS ShineAuto Widebody, VIS Carbon Fiber Hood, Precision SC67 Turbo, Turbonetics NewGen Wastegate, Greddy Type S BOV, FMIC, 1000 Aeromotive Fuel Pump, 13 Gallon Fuel Cell, Aeromotive FPR, Aeromotive Oil Pressure Reg, Oil Pump, Oil Scavenge Pump, 4 Qt Oil Reservoir, Racepak, Digital Display, Greddy Gauges, TWM Shift Knob, Upgraded Brakes w SS lines.

Interested? [email protected] or pm me.

im basically looking for another project car, 240sx, bmw, rx7, s2000, nsx, supra, corvette...anything is a possibility.

Asking 29,000.00 and im located in Orlando.

Regarding the interior, i wanted to keep the car as streetable as possible. I could have thrown a roll bar and racing seats etc. in but i wanted this as a fun weekend car that has creature comforts like power steering and air conditioning.

i'm not trying to knock it...its a GORGEOUS car. i was referring to the tears in the driver side carpet and what appears to be missing panels on the passenger side. maybe swap in a different carpet, get all the panels and armor all that bitch and it'll look even better. just my .02 but hey, what do i know lol

BTW,the dashpack is sick, did you do the glasswork

Ya, the interior is actually in good condition. there are brand new mats in the car and the kick panel is ready to be put back in.

The racepak took forever to make, its bondo and fiberglass.

hows the spool on that rear mount set up? Thats a shit ton of pipeing to run through. I guess the motor has enough torque stock that it would be ok. Dyno chart?

Hey, price is in the first line.

The spool time is a little bit later than the front mount i originally had. There are a few ways to combat the issue which i havent done yet. One big thing that will help spool would be wrapping the exhaust with header wrap which will keep the exhaust gas temps high which would yield a high horsepower too. The other thing that can be done is a spool valve which acts like a wastegate...

That is a sweet car. I like it. Bump for an awesome setup.

Only thing. I feel like you wasted your money going turbo. I would hope 8 psi would provide better results than that. My car has the ls in it, N/A making same numbers with bolt ons.

My buddy with a WS6 also with bolt ons and a procharger on 6 psi makes 603 rwhp.

I am definitely not ragging on the setup. I think whoever tuned the car could have done better, or something just is not right.

Ya i feel the same but like i said before; the exhaust needs to be heat wrapped which would allow for a quicker spool to 8lbs yielding a higher hp. Boost kicks in kinda late as it currently sits...
