Did you make sure that you lined everything up like the tranny. Did it slide in with ease. Also did you re-attach the clucth cable to the side of the tranny? Did you monkey with the clucth master cylinder at all? There could be air in the line or fluid may be gone. Check those out and get back to me.

I'm going to go check the lines for air right now, see if i cant bleed it out if there is any. and yea i hooked everything back up but im going to go double check for leakage. it doesnt seem like theres any pressure at ALL in the pedal.

ok i got a friend to pump the pedal as i cracked the nipple right above the piston that pushed the clutch (no idea any of the technical terms sorry) and fluid comes out, but i cant tell if air is. the piston barely moves when ive got the bleeder valve closed. is there just a LOT of air in there or what?

What do you mean it falls to the floor? When I got my clutch replaced the pedal feel was soft and the engine would rattle a lot in first gear but after 300 miles everything was fine. I'm not sure if you mean the pedal is softer or if it doesn't come back up at all after pressing it. You also should be flooring it in 4th gear with a new clutch.

i mean there was (probably still is) a lot of air in the lines and when id push on the pedal a hair, it just fell straight to the floor. like theres no pressure in the lines. i got some pressure in it last night by bleeding the clutch fluid, but there has to be some air in there somwhere because it still doesnt push hard enough to even put the car in gear.

what you should do to see if there is air in the system is put a hose over that nipple. then get a clear container and put a little brake fluid in there. put the hose in the fluid so when you do crack the nipple, you can see the bubbles of theres air in there. good luck.

The S13 has a little box thingy right were the slave cylinder is at, you're supposed to bleed the system from BOTH the box and the slave cylinder. If that doesn't work try replacing the master and slave cylinder, they're cheap, about $20-$30 for each one, it's always best to change both at the same time
