Is S13 valve cover same as S14 - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

I have an opertunity to buy a S13 (91-94) valce cover for almost nothing and was wondering if it the same as the S14's. I was either going to polish this one or powder coat it. So while I was working on th cover I would still had a drivable car.

Yes they are the same. Im polishing my old s13 valve cover and it kinda a biatch but underneath the paint its a dazzling chrome. Im intending on putting on my s14 engine.

no it isnt, there is a little tab in the back of the S14 valve cover towards the fire wall on the driverside that is not there on the s13. IE. the will not fit, if you put them next to each other you will see that.

no the back of s14 slants down, while the s13 doesnt, there not at all the same

You're talking about the SR vavle covers.
They are talking about the KA vavle covers, which are not the same.
