? about using Q45 throttle body.

Wanted to know all the pros and cons of using a Q45 throttle body or trying to get one to work on a sr20det.

pro.. really big hole for air.. 80mm iirc. thats lik 3 inches!

con.. hard to find? big hole in wallet? wiring for throttle position sensor?

But what aboout the intake manifold. Will it bolt right up or need to be modified. And what type of wiring needs to be done to use a mustang cobra MAF?

As far as mounting the throttle body, there was once a guy selling the adapter plates that needed to be welded to the intake mani, so I'm thinking it would cost even more dough after sourcing a TB....

whoa i posted in this thread long time ago. like 2 years ago. but yea. wiring is the least of your problems when using the q45 tb. making a flange or welding it onto your manifold will probably be a headache if you dont know a welder or can't do custom work yourself.
