wideband guage question

before i even start this motor i am looking to run a wideband, but i not sure on some things..

SO..

AEM Gauge-type Wideband UEGO Controller [ 30-4100 ] - Enjuku Racing - Performance Parts and High Quality Fabrication

vs.

Megan Racing 52mm Air/Fuel Meter [ MG-AF ] - Enjuku Racing - Performance Parts and High Quality Fabrication

im assuming the megan one is cheaper because it doesn't come with a wideband o2? and is that crucial for it to read accurately? or could i buy the megan one and hook it up to my current o2?
