Leaky Injector

![]() When I'm not under boost, just sitting at idle what should my vacuum be at in PSI its at 10in.HG Vacuum right now at idle. Someone told me it should be at, at least 20inHG Vacuum or else i have a vacuum leak?

yes, whoever told you that is correct. With my SR idling at 1000rpm I sit at about 22in/hg It could definitely be a vacuum leak so check that first. then again, if you were leaking that much you would have other problems like low irratic idle and boosting problems.

Yep - Mine is S14, KA-T, 20in/hg...
Pressure test the intake mani / intercooler piping...use something to block the turbo inlet, and pressurize with an air compressor. Find the leak, fix it... Later - Brian |
