First of all, this guy wasn't the seller, he was the buyer. But he deserves his own thread.

I had my S15 turbo up for sale. $600. Nowhere does it say "obo".

I'm in the middle of a HUGE project this week, deadline is tomorrow. The guy hits me up, and I told him I could meet up on Saturday (after everything slows down). He replies by begging me to meet up today because his turbo is blown and this is his only car. I told him I'd get off super late and I'd have to drive down from Valencia to meet him up, but that I wasn't sure because there was a lot of stuff to do at work (big presentation the next day).

I had originally offered to cut work a little early and meet up at 11:20pm. The day progressed and I realized there was way too much to do, so I changed the time to 11:45pm, mind you it was still early afternoon. I also had to be up at 5 the next morning and work another 12 hours.

He replies with this, "Man stop messin around and lets just do this."

Way to be a rude dickbag.

So I tell him, let's do it another day, then I said fuck it, I'll leave early and meet me at 11:45 like planned.

He confirmed he was coming, so I left Valencia at 10:30 and made it back to Torrance by 11:30. He was leaving Diamond Bar.

Well he managed to show up a whole hour late. I was falling asleep waiting for him. I went to the place of meet up and pulled out the turbo. He starts making an excuse about how he was stuck in traffic. DUDE I DROVE DOWN FROM VALENCIA IN TRAFFIC AND MADE IT ON TIME FOR YOU.

Then he tells me he only has $500 cash. So I told him that was too bad. "Come on man," and he pulled the money out. I told him "no, its 600. I went out of my way for you," I waited a fucking hour for you to show up.

Then he says, "Keep it. Thanks for wasting my time," and got back in his car.



I will never go out of my way for someone I don't know ever again. This is clearly what I get for being a nice guy.

And I left him a negative feedback as well.
