header wrap on downpipe smoke
i made a downpipe for my rb swap and sprayed the pipe with silicone heat spray, then wrapped with with vulcan heat wrap from top mount turbo down the the floor board. drove car for maybe the amount of 2 hours now and it still seems to be smoking. just wondering if this is normal? its a light hazy smoke coming from like firewall area and is a sweet smell. dries my mouth out bad when driving. i didnt think it would take this long.

Sounds fine to me - it's normally going to 'burn' a bit, as it's filled with cloth and fiberglass. It will eventually not smell like it's on fire after a day or two of driving it.
FWIW: You're supposed to wrap first, then spray ontop...but regardless I don't think it will make much difference
