I have a S14 SR20 that was running fine until I let my friend borrow the car. When the car came back it will barley hold a idle. Runs like shit, and wont go above 2K RPM. When the car is in nuetral and you free rev it, it shoots a flame out the Exhaust.

Any chance this could be a coil pack or FPR??

sounds like a boost leak or maff or combination of both to me

Boost leak? Like one of the intercooler tubes could of popped off??

How do I test the MAF?

My bet is a boost leak too. Check your IC piping thoroughly.

check all your your hoses, intercooler pipes for boost leaks, and you can check your MAF by unplug when is running if it gets worse the MAF is bad. but if anything make your friend pay for anything you may have to buy and learn your lesson and dont let anybody borrow your car!

The IC piping all looked good, going to check the MAF next

Check your vacuum lines and like the others stated above... Never let anyone borrow your car, they'll never treat it like you would. Hope things workout.

it can be a boost leak check on all of the tubing and couplers but also check on your fuel filter my sr had a clogged fuel filter and it ran like shit and i couldnt go past 2500 rpm.
