All clear looks gay, but you could go over the whole assembly with translucent paint...all red (no orange) might look cool...

gross... and yeah it looks like someone took housings and cut some office-ceiling-style fluorescent lamp covers

could go with a nice clear cherry red all-around, or leave the corners clear and use a really good amber bulb...

I think that hb would look real tight if the center light was blacked out. Also, I'd like to see a black S14 with those lights. I just like something about black cars with white lights, especially the Lexus RX330.

I'm not sure if these are mass produced here in the states, but they do sell clear tail light for all silvias in Japan. I've seen them advertised in Option and BM mags. Some who has those mags and a scanner could probably post a pic.

its not chopped. There are quite a few hatches with clear tails. Like the red one that was a drift car. There was a thread a while back about a yahoo japan auction that had those tails for sale, although the center panel said 240sx i beleive.

That black hatch would look nice with kouki tails, and a diff wing.
