Alright so im having some issues. i did a sr20 engine swap into an s13 but im having issues with the starter relay. the only way for me to key start the car is if i hotwire the plug where the starter relay goes. my first thought was the relay is bad so i tried another one, than another one. none of them fixed the problem. the relays i tried arent brand new but i doubt that all 3 were bad. so now im left with the questions of wtf is wrong? from the symptoms u would think its the relay, but all three of them being busted seems unlikely.

Just bypass the relay. We've discussed this for two decades.

same problem here. i have only been jumping it for a few days now.i dont drive it because i have another car. waiting to order my used relays. pm me if it helps

does it make any kind of noises when you try cranking it i had the same problem on my sr but it was my relay.
