what gets me is he builds an ironman suit for japan? doesnt seem like the tony stark thats in the movies.

I don't think he built them for Japan... I think he had the suit and his pilots brought over to Japan so that he could oversee their testing while he was working on the Arc Station there

I'm not sure what I was expecting previous to watching this, but the first episode makes it abundantly clear that this is gonna be Saturday Morning Cartoon fodder. It's not bad, just don't expect this anime to be deep and/or gritty. The Intros/Outros and music suck ass though, much like American cartoons.

Yeah, it sucks that Marvel won't let them take off the kid gloves with these projects. I wish they could come to an agreement on certain core origin details and then let the Japanese writers just go wild.

I used to dream of an X-Men anime written by the "Rurouni Kenshin" creator... That shit would have been dope.

Other than him being too tall and the music sucking massive bawls, I think its not too bad so far. That might change once I see it subbed though...lol
