Does anyone know any good sites that sell video cameras with mounts that dont require permanent bolting to the exterior of your car? I remember seeing a picture a while ago with them so i know they exist. Hopefully they're not too expensive. I'm looking to make a really nice video sometime soon

Can you hook these cameras up to like a laptop to recond on your computer or is it a video camera of digital camera?

I found www.conecam.com . Apparently they have an internal recording device but they need to be connected to a camera or vcr to transfer the recordings. Then that can be transferred to a computer with a video capture card. Downside is that they cost $200.

Someone at the local autocrosses has a cone cam system. It mounts anywhere on the exterior of the car with 3 suction cups. I have visited his website and there are so many badass angles you can achieve with that that you can't get otherwise. I'm not saying its worth $200 just for what looks like those el cheapo webcams, but take a look for yourself:
