Question about ...

S14 SR20 HKS 264/264 Step 2

when some one says s14 sr20 does that mean it wouldnt work for my s13 sr20det red top?? kinda confused on this..

Wont work unless you run an S14 intake VTC cam sprocket. The intake cam gears are engine specific. Also, S14 cams are usually not as aggressive compared to S13 cams due to the VTC.

I have another problem/ concern...

i just got a tomi HG that reads.. 87.0-1.5mm

is this going to work on my sr20det or is that over bore? isnt the stock 86mm? or how does that work.

Itll work, you just get a slight drop in compression but nothing to be worried about. Almost every JDM aftermarket HG makers make them 87mm.

oh so you mean ill loose compression because of it being 1.5mm? thats fine i want to run higher boost so thats the reason for the thicker hg..
