you will need a breather element (small filter to connect to the black hose), and somehow attact the air temp sensor (with the wires) to your air filter. your year 240sx may not have the sensor.

dammit i need a breather i just tossed my old one away. oh well ..

i think i do have the sensor , so i stick it in the filter?.. does the sensor need to sense the vacum? or just normal air?

Drag strips are ussually pretty clean so people run with out filters.

i have weapon r and it wasn't worth the money if you pay full price (i didn't). i wouldn't get the drop in filter if i were you. they're nice if you don't want to buy anymore air filters for your car, but i doubt it would give even a little bit of power.
