Hey guys,

I unhooked my AC a while back when I toke my motor out (stupid move) and never had the chance to readd freon and oil to it. When I turn the AC on now, the plate on the front of the AC (is this the clutch?) doesn't spin at all. Does this mean that the compressor is bad and dead?

I've read multiple threads from searching on google that I could jump the compressor and if the plate on the front of the AC (clutch?) spin then it is still a good compressor?

I want a definite answer before I go out and find another AC compressor.
