Rebuild Won't Start. Please Help!!!
So here is the story:
I recently rebuilt the top half of my SR20DET with HKS 264 Cams, HKS adjustable cam gears. The intake manifold and head have been port, polished and flow matched. I changed the valve springs and retainers to Greddy Springs and Titanium Retainers. The valves had a vlave grind performed and after assembly the head was pressure tested before installing it on the block. Now that everything is back together I cannot get the engine to start. I have tested for spark and I know the engine is getting fuel. I was able to get one puff of flame out the exhaust but other then that I cannot get the engine to turn over. Any Ideas?

yea, it's gotta be timing... do you have a timing light?
if not definitely run to what ever is closest and pick one up, they're so cheap and it'll save you from potentially destroying your brand new head!

Timing forsure! I think I could shead some light on this. Sometimes if you get the cam timing wrong it sounds like its popping off back thru the intake. If its CAS timing it will have a hard or start but awkwardly.. hope this helps
