I am looking for an answer to my I idling issue. I have some ideas but I want to validate them. I have been having issues after high rev idling properly. The car has a lot of miles. I am thinking that it's the iacv but I'm not sure how to clean it or if it's even the problem. Suggestions or any help will be greatly appreciated.

go for the iacv first

it also might be as simple as changing the sparkplugs.

to clean it, remove the upper portion of your intake mani, remove iacv grab some carb or brake cleaner and some q tips and goto town be sure to get a new gasket

seafoam is also good. cleaning up the throttle body, and built up carbon.
