If you have no fuel pressure, it very well could be the fuel pump, but remember the fuel pump is powered by a relay that is fired by the computer. Make sure the fuel pump is getting power when you turn the key on.
Did you hear the fuel pump getting louder before it died? Could your fuel filter just be clogged? If your pump is shot, upgrade to a 255lph pump and a 300zx fuel filter, just to be on the safe side of things. |

when i change the fuel filter the fuel keeps on leaking out
but when i put the new fuel filter and put it, in on position there was not much (very little fuel coming out) and also i checked all the fuses under the hood and interior too all the fuse was ok still til this point could it be the fuel pump |

Pull up the carpet in the trunk, you will find the fuel pump access cover and the electrical connector for the pump. Check to connector for voltage while someone turns the key to the on position. You should get power for 3 seconds. If you don't it's probably the fuel pump relay. If you do get voltage, it is probably the pump. Too make absolutely certain check for resistance across the pump (with the plug disconnected). If you get no resistance across the pump it is definately shot. |
