Ok ive got 2 12" inch flex-a-lite fans on my car. To power them ive got them wired right to the battery (didnt know where else) then ive got a switch on the power wire i use to turn them on.

For some reason, whenever i turn the fans on for 5+ minutes, the switch and connectors gets HOT AS HELL. Im on my 4th switch...i the first one i figured was a defect, so i got another of the same type..that one blew too so i got a differently designed one, finally that one blew so i just bought another one.

Doing this means i can only use my fans at stop lights, which seems safe to me...

Weird thing is, ive got a 25 amp fuse on the line and the fans are rated for 25 amps...so i dunno why the fuse isnt blowing instead of the switch. Also i blew one 25A switch while using a 20amp fuse.
