1969 Datsun 510 : L20b etc etc
1969 Datsun 510 : L20b etc etc
Just recently bought this and it is everything I expected. Great reliable little classic. Car is in Houston, TX. I gotta sell it to get a little more down payment on my house to avoid having to pay the extra mortgage loan insurance if you don't have at least 20% down on a conventional loan.* Contact information Text to 832-491-3511 Year 1969 Make and model Datsun 510 VIN PL510043822 Title Clean clear Georgia title Price $8,000 I have for sale a rare beauty that we don't come across too often. She's a rust free 1969 Datsun 510 coupe with front and back seats. The car is fun and daily drivable in my opinion, well maintained, and cranks up every time. She IMO only needs three things. Other than these three things which are not that major, she's good to go. Those three things are: 1) Carpet ( I am including a giant roll of carpet ) 2) a headliner cover 3) windshield wiper arms Now on to the good stuff.* Engine/Transmission: - Swapped Fully Rebuilt L20b, Ported and polished A87 peanut head and valve job just done.* - Datsun SSS Intake manifold - Dual Datsun SSS side draft carburetors with new K&N filters - Hooker Header - Full exhaust - New fuel filter - Mr Gasket FPR set at 3.5 psi - New NGK BP6ES spark plugs - Polished valve cover - 280zx bigger radiator - Dual electric fans - 280sx 5spd transmission that's shifts smooth and crisp - 1 piece lightweight driveshaft - Factory LSD - Brand new OEM choke cable Suspension/brakes/wheels/tires: - front and rear thicker sway bars - lowering springs - rebuilt brakes F&R - BRAND new tires - 13 inch AR wheels* Interior: - Recovered Leather seats front and rear - Matching Door panels - Crackless dash - New weather stripping on all windows - Oil pressure gauge - Water temp gauge - Voltage Guage - Dual fan switches - Fuel filler relocated to trunk - Battery relocated to trunk - Electronic door poppers installed Exterior: - Fiberglass flared front fenders - Fiberglass hood - Fiberglass molded rear over fenders - Shaved door handles - Shaved Fuel filler flap - molded fiberglass rear bumper - new head lights - new grill - paint is in pretty good shape ALL low beams, high beams, front signals, rear signals, brake lights, tail lights works as they should. The motor originally in these cars is a 1.6L carb motor but this one was swapped to the 2.0L. This motor has been meticulously cleaned and maintained. Carbs are perfect and clean. This car starts when's it's 30 degrees or 100 degrees outside. This car has taken cross county trips.* ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

My old car. Will vouch 110% for van (the seller) and this car. I rebuilt the motor on it and it was my daily driver before exchanging ownership. No leaks smokes or noises in the engine and the body and frame is great condition. Engine only has ~1500 miles since fresh rebuild
