crashed car, messed up front end
I went over a curb and up an embankment tonight. besides messing up the bumper and a corner light i think I bent something in my suspension. the wheel that went over the curb has messed up caster, it used to be centered in the wheel well and now its pushed farther back. I think I bent the inner tie rod on that side but I have some new tein ones in my room anyway. you guys have any idea on what would push the wheel back like that. The tension rods look to be adjusted out the same still.

yeah, what everybody else said. you have to just jack up the car and inspect for yourself. this happaned to me about a month and a half ago. You can get alot of good cheap stuff from pdm-racing. But as long you are okay everything will be fine. It is a learning lesson that you are going to realize. Also, if some things are messed up you mine as well upgrade some of it. Hope that helps.

well, knowing my luck its probably the lca, since I have spare tc rods and tie rods. and how are you going to learn to drift better if you dont try. People make mistakes, even pro drifters hit the walls, I think better advice would be dont try to drift if you cant afford to fix your car, I knew I would eventually crash, so ill fix it and more than likely brake something else later on, just an expensive hobby i guess.

yeah, i use a different set of rims and tires in the back for drifting. I dont drift on the street, I go up to the mountians late at night and vista points out in the middle of nowhere. I appreciate your advice and agree that i should get some time in at an event where I can learn the limits of my car in a safe enviroment.

i have nothing against having fun on streeets, just be safe, that's all
honestly what you learn at a track one day, you can apply taht to the streets and greatly reduce your risk of incidents! watch for buttonwillow open track days..you get HOURS of track time. youll learn morethen you can imagine. |

yeah, I was actually planning on going to buttonwillow a few months ago but I had to go offshore to work. By the way, does anyone know where to get upgraded lca's for S14's?

maybe i will look at bushings, usually whn I replace something I like to go with something better than stock. I would like to get my suspension totally set up before I do any big power upgrades
