so I go out to the rental car to warm it up. put the keys in the ignition started it. Thought nothing of it....
Went back out to get in the car. The fucking thing locked itself!That's fucking retarded. now I gotta pay an extra fee to have it unlocked.
FUCK.

Im glad the Z doesn't do weird shit like that.

You know what I would have done?

I would have broken the car's leg, knocked it's teeth out, talked shit to it, and recorded the aftermath with my cellphone and posted it on Youtube with the title "Racist Car commits hate crime and get's caught!"

Anytime I start any car and I have to get out I always leave the window cracked or all the way down just in case.

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of warming it up though? When I say i was warming it up, I don't mean the engine, I mean the inside of the car. Lesson learned though. I just thought it was an odd feature to have on a car that was running. I could see if i just left the keys in the car and shut the door, but the car was running...

If I'm warming it up I crack a window just far enough to squeeze something in there if the doors do lock.

call the rental agency and have them use a spare remote to unlock it over the phone (rf frequencies can travel over mobile)

doesnt work lol, we tried like 5 different remotes, but to get better signal to unlock/lock your car you put it under your chin and will work further then usual range
