Dif fan controller problem

So I have looked through mulitple thereads around here still cannot find the answer. I have a DIF fan controller with 2 flexalite fans on my sr20. Yesterday my fan#1 decided not to shut off at all. Usually it shuts off roghly 20 sec after the car is off. I have looked through the wiring and checked all the groudns and power and wiring to the temp sensor. Everything is absolutely normal. It worked with no issues for a year and a half before this incident. Any suggestions what can it be? If i pull the fuse out on the power wire fan shuts off but if i try to put it in it comes on? What are the settings you guys run your controllers usually and what can triger the problem?

The FAL's pull too much Amperage for the Version D Controller so Its melting the Relays inside causing them to stay on.

You need to upgrade to the DIF PWM controller since Its reated at 60 amps

this is all you need to have a electric fan working properly without crap electronic components that take up too much space and end up failing.

SPAL USA

very simple installation, and works without fail. like a OEM setup. if you feel you MUST have control you can even add a switch so you can turn the fans on manually.

gotcha, Bur yeah like I said, they pull too much. Version D is rated at 25Amps and FAL's pull like 28Amps.
Its not much over it so I will slowly kill it depending on how long the Fans Cycle

a buddy of mine that had the same issue.

I then bought this one and havent had an issue since

The reference data in that link is the shit! Buy a couple relays and make your own multiple fan kit for ~$20

id never go with any trashy mishitmoto fans,

if im going with an electric fan, i only stick with OEM.. Altima/maxima/taurus fan..

mishitmoto / fal / isis do not pull enough air to accurately keep the engine cool in the long run

I know this thread is over 2-months old but my questions pertains exactly to this and figured I'd just bump the one already made.

I was wondering if you can mod/replace the 12A Relay in the DiF Ver.D Controller with something bigger like 20+A's.
Like say having Wires with pins or probes in the original 12A Relay sockets and run them External to run a 20+ Relay? Or is it possible to find the same style relay in a 20+? Would the PCB/Socket it's self be able to handle the higher current.

Just a though as I already have FAL's (Not installed, waiting to go in) and I wanna wire it with a Controller and I have found a DiF Ver.D for cheap.

You can run external relays and have the DIF controller trigger the External Relays on and off

My setup...

the dif is turning on the 30 amp relays, which are fused.. it has been bulletproof for the last 6 months, and is going to get re-wired, and used in my VH swap
