s13 kade starts up fine idles 800-900 rpm, no hesitation on throttle. ill be driving along everything is fine and then all of a sudden it eats shit. sputters a ton, shoots smoke out the rear end and i have little throttle response. smells like oil, if i turn it off and let it sit without trying to start it for 5-10 minutes, it will fire up and be fine.

what color smoke?

Blue smoke = Oil
Black Smoke = Gas
White Smoke = Coolant

Blue, have oily black residue in exhaust. Smells like oil. I have good compress.ion

check your spark plugs and look for one covered in oil....sounds like a valve stem seal. I wanted to say PCV valve but I dont think it would effect the car that bad
