VLSD Diff swap, both S13 abs to non-abs

I've read probably 40 different threads and articles about VLSD swaps into the S13 but for the life of me I can't find specific information about a HICAS/ABS S13 VLSD replacing internals into an Open S13 LSD.

I understand the J30 internals take some special work to fit into an open diff housing but with 2 COMPLETE diffs (one being s13 vlsd the other s13 open) would there be any complications switching the internals?

I imagine it wouldn't be hard because the 180sx VLSD is the same thing and is in the shorter housing without the ABS sensor.

If it's anything tricky I'll just pick up the shorter ABS driveshaft and not worry about it.

Thanks in advance.

Bump
I just guess I'm really trying to find a non-aftermarket LSD alternative to having to get special bushings, axles, driveshafts to install a VLSD into an s13.

Ok well after 2 days of surfing the interwebs I've mostly found out everything I want to know.

NOW I just have 1 question. Does the hole for the ABS sensor in these VLSD's need to be covered up to keep gear oil from leaking out?
example:

6 bolt j30 with abs is direct bolt with tight fit between the driveshaft and output shaft but it would work. End of discussion
