![]() So my friggin ebrake fukkd up today in my s13. So i was thinking this shouldnt be too much of a problem. mebbe i can fix it and if its not fixable, can just replace it. but this is not what i realized. I tried to dissasemble the ebrake but thats my main problem, I CANT DISASSEMBLE IT!! WTF?!?! stupid construction. i mean, everything is riveted. So i cant fix the dam thing, I might as well replace it. NOW THATS MY NEXT PROBLEM. how the hell do i remove it from the cable? thats friggin riveted too. why couldnt nissan use goddamn nuts and bolts for this. please help. how do i remove the ebrake?

Well from tightening a e-brake cable on another car, along the e-brake line (under the car) there is a place where you can tighten it. All you have to do is turn a nut and it tightens. As for our cars I'd have to find my FSM to tell you. I'll get back to you later today if no one else does.

Why would you need to replace the whole thing? The only thing you should ever need to replace shoud be the wire itself, and that would only be if it's cut. What exactly fucked up with it?
