sr20det air conditioning

I live in arizona, the hottest place in the nation, ergo, i need air conditioning. Everyone says it is so hard for a/c to work in their sr-equipped s14s, however, my usdm compressor bolted up on one bolt, and i can make an adapter for one more. It seems that it will be fine as far as staying in-line with the belts, maintaining stock fittings, as opposed to welding in the SR fittings for the Sr compressor. Anyone see any problems with this setup?

Thanks, Ryan

I have a s14 with a s14 blk top. I installed a ka ac compressor. I had to fab.a bracket to make it fit. I had one bolt kinda line up but it would not allow for a correct belt lineup. I encountered a problem with the s14 ac low pressure line fitting. It won't unless you mod it. I cut the line and removed the small ball like chamber. I had the system charged and found out it had too much pressure on the low press side. So I had to reinstall the ball as I was informed it's a pressure reducer. I have yet to have it vac and recharged. The alignment on the lp side fitment in the compressor seems to be critical. If not aligned properly it will blowout and leak. It appears to a poor setup.

That is strange b/c I have put the KA compresor on utilizing only one bolt right now and it lined up perfectly with the other pullies so I could put the belt on, which is now on and seems properly aligned.
