i dont get this output flanges stuff.

i read in other forums about the output flanges and how s14 vlsd flanges and the s14 open diff flangs are differnt. but i dont know if the s14 vlsd flanges will fit in the s15 hlsds. if it was to, how much can i buy and were can i buy the s14 vlsd flangs. also does the s15 hlsd fit in the housing of a s14 open diff????

VLSD output shaft spline pattern is different from from open diff output shaft spline pattern, as is HLSD output shaft spline pattern. None of the three are interchangeable as far as I know. S15 HLSD fits into R200 diff assembly. Here's a pic of my pumpkin after putting the HLSD in.

yeah its an r200. The s15 HLSD will fit inside the open diff housing, you just need to use the S15 output shafts.

"thelinja" did a small "how to" write up in a thread recently. Just do a search for S15 HLSD.

No, the ONLY output shafts that work with the S15 HELICAL DIFFERENTIAL are shafts that were used on an S15 Silvia (not sure if it was just Spec R) with said differential.
