Redtop idle/bog issues

I have searched...a ton, if you know of a thread that has an answer i would love to see it.

Motor
z32 maf
tomei 256
pbm highmount
725cc injector dynamics
enthalpy tune

The issue is my redtop does not want to idle, and bogs up to about 3500 rpms and then after that it runs great. It almost feels like when the ECU is in open loop it runs the worst.

Car has been set at 15* BTDC, and ran fine with stock injector/ecu/maf.

Now with everything installed it runs terrible and doesnt want to idle at all.

Any suggestions?
Im going to clean the MAF, but what else could i be looking at?

just a thought, but could it be the rom tune by enthalpy?
have you ever used the tune before with no issues or has the tune been used it and ran fine?

Ive had a second opinoin and they also thought it was the ECU, but I emailed Enthalpy and he doesnt think so.-__-

As soon as the car had the new injectors/tune, maf was added after it ran like shit.

i would tell them you want it retuned/looked at. make sure they tuned it exactly for ever thing in your car. if its not that, then the only other thing i could think of is the maf is bad, or possibly the injectors are bad

are u sure you wired the z32 maf correctly. Also to make sure its not the maf u could also try taking it off and see if it idles any better.

One thing that happened to me when switching tunes my ECU plug wasnt all the way tight and it was causing my car to idle like sh*t and misfire left and right. I was pissed because i literally changed the ROM chip and nothing else, then after like a few hours of trying this and that i took off the ECU again, reseated the chips and tightened it back up, and viola. my car was idling back to normal.

Okay, i cleaned the MAF and im going to get a new airfilter to see if that makes any difference. Injectors are brand new. And I guess its back to enthalpy

Still not fixed and I am absolutely stumped.

This is what I have,
unhooked and blew out the ECU, no change.
unplugged and plug in the maf, runs better with MAF plugged in, doesnt idle real well either way.
messed with the idle air control valve, and moved the screw up, the idle will jumpo up to around 2500 rpms then back down, and die out.

What else could i be looking at, any help is appreciated.

Also before the new injectors, fpr, lines, and tune the car was idleing.

hey, heres what you should do:

get a friend or whoever to start the car, get a can of carb clean with the red needle sprayer.
start at the throttle body, work your way around all the vaccum lines and eventually back to the iacv. wherever it starts to pick up idle is where theres a leak. also, tee into one of your vaccum lines with a boost/vaccum guage, you should have 20 (or close to it) on the vaccum side. if theres a significant loss of vaccum then you have a leak somewhere. also, test your bov like they were saying above and make sure you have a straight 8 or more inches BEHIND your maf, they tend to not like bends.

make sure the shielded wire that runs to the maf is porperly grounded. My car is still having idle issues, but no where near as bad once my maf grounding issue was addressed. And also theres a specific maf cleaner, probably just an electrical cleaner labaled as maf cleaner, but the helped alot too. And ya what everyone else said too. Stupid vaccuum leaks.
