Why so much for the head? Not shitting on your price, I'm more asking you to educate me ^_^ im taking that route. I've seen sr20ve whole motors for that price. Thanks in advance!

The sr20ve motors which you have seen for sale are P11
The p12 Is the latest model Ve cylinder head which is why they are more expensive they are also more rare to come by as well

When I was doing all my research, all of the serious power numbers were made easier with the P12 head vice the P11. Just as STRE180 said, it's the newer model cylinder head from the SR20VE series. As a result, the P12 had the best air-flow characteristics.

In my previous FS thread, I had the inner springs and titanium seat retainers to match. That all together would've allowed you to SAFELY, rev to 10k making power all the way to the top.
That's all before you do any serious headwork like port matching, valve jobs etc.

I was looking to hit 600+ RWHP on stock bore size, mostly stock P12 head, P12 cams, 6262, and a JWT ROM tune on 93 Octane.

I've seen some hit 700+ with just bigger turbo/injector choices and a different tune..... Kinda makes me sad to know I was so close to having my dream build... oh well. Shit happens LOL.
