I think I hit 123 in the 240, but it pulled back cause of the #### speed limiter...

Feels very smooth at that speed. Didn't even notice I was going that fast. I was cruising with my homie on the fwy at the time.

I hit 160 in my Ztt one time. That was nice. It was like floating on a cloud.

You can't do 123 with a speed limiter... 118 mph is the limit. But... remove that bitch, and redline limited speed is around 145-146 MPH. . not bad for a KA... SR is something like. . 155 or so. . Dave2u? this seem right? hehe

A KA will do around 130 maybe alittle more but not much, the SR won't do 155 (maybe a S15?) more like 140-145

I'm not sure about that one... Can't vouch for SR, but I do know of a couple list members from the 240sx.org that have done 145-146 (one was 145. . hehe the other 146)

In our 1990 Stanza with KA24E, we could easily bury the needle. . it showed to 130 mph, so passing 130 isn't a problem. . next time you hit speed limiter, look at your tach and calculate where you would be at redline.

I am unsure if 155 is correct in the SR, because I can't remember which member with the SR told me this. . So I'd love to hear from someone on this forum with an SR and no limiter =) (or Euro / German ECU)

Look at my tach and estimate what speed I would be at? That would be the most inaccurate guess. You hit your top speed like a wall and you just can't pass it. Redline on a S13 is what? 6900? Whats saying aerodynamics (i'm talking stock cars here) does'nt completely stop the car before redline? On S13's doesn't the Speedo only go to 110? Don't tell me your guessing by "adding" extra numbers in your head. My car's top speed is around 140 (speedo go's to 155)

i know thats true, the only time i tried to go that fast was in a 200sx (US 200sx, as in sr20de 2 door sentra). however, it had a severe alignment problem. aroudn 120-125 the wind began to give it a little lift, and i simply couldnt hold the wheel in place, because of how bad the alignment was. you think its annoying to drive in traffic, i felt like i had been doing bench presses after i slowed down, trying to hold that for just a couple of minutes. very very stupid thing to do...

I have had my SR over 120 on the Dyno and that is just the end of 4th and at stock boost. I think 150-160 should be acheivable but would need a pretty good run at it.

Well. the guys that HAVE done 145 in a stock KA have hit redline... it's not drag limited, christ we're not driving Camaros.

And yes, you can go 145 mph on a stock KA24DE, it wasn't really meant for discussion, I was just saying.. that's what u can do.

Yes I'll take anything you say as fact. Whats camaro's have anything to do with this? There drag co. is a whopping .04 more. What was used to measure there speed? The stock speedo, cause we all know how accurate that is at 145 mph.
S13 KA24E - 130
S13 KA24DE-134
S14 KA24DE-130
