just picked up an s13 with flip ups and the wiring is just a nightmare looking at it. the headlights are stuck up, except for one (it can move up and down freely with your hand). it has toyota ballasts/bulbs retrofitted in there and just alot of wiring is hacked up. im hoping someone that is electrical savy can come by and fix it. electrical is not one of my strong points. anyone can come and fix it, beer and labor are on me.

my fuel gauge doesn't register either. i took out the sending unit and the floater is still there. all wires seem to be intact also.

You can lift it up and push it down with your hand or by twisting the knob?
With hand = broken rod or motor??
Twist = search NICO or here for how to fix popups.

i can physically move the headlight up and down with my hand on the one side. when you turn on/off the switch, the lights do not go up or retract. i can turn the little motor on the driver side and the headlight moves up and down and it holds whatever position. the passenger side, you turn the knob and it goes up but with just a little nudge, it can fall back down again.
