Lightbulb Touch Screen/ Sensor Power Windows

Ok so I was searching around in these window "amps" and thought that I would just start a new thread...

Reviving dead beat dog thread here but anyone able to post pic of s13 window "amp?"

Im curious as to coming up with new window switches. I am not 100% sure a regular 3 way momentary-off-momentary switch would work.

My project is I am going to install my carbon door panels. I don't want to use the same switches so me being the electronic douche I am trying to integrate some sort of touch screen/ sensor circuit for power windows.

My theory would work since they use the same crap in industries by controlling 12v motor via touchscreen. They use it in home automation by turning 120v lights on by a 12v touchscreen. And what about your gram's old school touch lamps?! I've also seen some odd ball post on the internet some where the guy did touch sensor start instead of push button start. It isn't hard to find a 5v touch screen/ sensor momentary "switch" but then use 12v relay to power window up/ down.

I guess my only concern is the window motor overcurrent circuit breaker in the switch or the motor? Becuase once the window is all the way up or all the way down the motor is at its limit and then will draw more current and then the switch is "dead" or no longer active in that motion. Also, what is the window motor current when operating?

You all may think I'm a loser but I've made custom LED tails long time before it was popular. Not saying I invented it... But Now with all the touch screen navigation/ radio in cars I think touch sensor window switches would be neat in my 23 year old car! Its my own personal opinion/ taste

I think it'd be a pretty cool idea. I'm not the greatest with wiring or anything but I'd think it would work just gotta set it up right

thanks for the support

essentially can be integrated in to other things as well just instead of all the manual switches and make them "digital" like turning on/ off headlights for example lol just my stupid little silly gadget ideas haha

besides look at ford's escape motion trunk opener with a swift of your foot lmao

Sounds pretty cool; definitely different. My only question is, since it's touch screen, wouldn't the switch get tripped a lot by accident if your arm or hand brushed by it?

Guess it depends where the panel is at and how sensitive it is.

Actually I just got out here to Las Vegas and got new Ford Explorer for rental. Besides the touch Nav it has the touch panel for climate control - which that is pretty sensitive.

It's been done before, I read a thread on here a long time ago its a S13 demo car that is controlled by a hand held touch screen device. Windows, door locks, radio, Tv's in the car, etc. it's pretty neat buy highly expensive. I believe it somewhere in the interior thread if I'm not mistaken.
