![]() I was just wondering if there was any possible way to tchange the frequency on a car radio?My friend sold his car recently and gave me his old radio which he brought from japan.He jsut used his cd and tape player.i think the highest radio station on the radio is like 88.0 and the lowest here is like 88.1...does anyone know anyhting about this?

they haev frequency convertors, i remember seeing them. try yahoo i tihnk they have stores that sell these kinds of things

yeah japan uses different radio frequencies so the radios arent compatible. thats the only problem with buying a japanese deck (ie cool double din with MD and shit like that). i think ive heard of the frequency converters, but never seen one.

AudioCubes.com sells frequency converters as well as Japanese car stereos and other cool stuff we can't get here.

Agggrrrrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhh... I wish I knew frequency converters existed 3 months ago. There were so many cheap double-DIN HU's at the used parts stores in Japan
