F/S: 2004 Mazda RX-8 - Brand New Warrantied Motor - "Clean & Simple" Mods
Hey guys, thanks for stopping by.
The Basics 2004 Mazda RX-8 6-Speed Manual Transmission Brilliant Black w/ Black Interior VIN #: Available upon request 101,XXX miles on the body <2,000 miles on a new warrantied Mazda reman'd motor (12k miles/1 year warranty) - Was installed by Mazda dealership. Pics Some are older, some are newer.       Sorry, but no gauges anymore. The gauge pod is still there, though!  Backup camera shot :]  iPod cable being routed into center console area.  Interior lighting    Story So, what happened was...LOL :P I bought this car a little over a year ago. It was originally turbo'd with a "blown" motor. I was able to get it running, but it ended up blowing a few months later regardless. Unfortunately, I had to part out with the turbo stuff in order to afford a new motor. I had the new Madza OEM reman'd motor installed by Mazdatrix for $3,900 total. They apparently forgot to flash the ECU back to stock for the new motor, so that brand new motor blew at only ~1,000 miles or so. They wouldn't warranty their work, so I had to bring it to a local dealership instead. $3,200 later - I had another OEM reman'd motor installed by John Hine Mazda here in San Diego. The motor is warrantied for 1 year/12,000 miles. Some factory emissions parts were also re-installed, and I had some additional parts replaced that were worn, like the motor mounts. Bottom Line Basically, although the car looks great now and runs great, it just isn't what I need right now. My wife is due any day/week now, and between my money-pit RX-7....I just don't need any more financial liabilities right now. LOL The "Goods" Mazda OEM Reman'd motor (only 1,100 miles on it) ->Motor is warrantied for 12,000 miles/1 year New motor mounts were installed from dealer while the motor was out 3" Mid-pipe w/ resonator & high-flow cat (has CARB # for CA emissions) 3" Turbo XS Cat-Back Exhaust Espillir Lowering Springs Mazdaspeed replica urethane front-bumper VIS Racing carbon-fiber trunk Painted red tail-lights w/ relocated reverse LED light in rotor accent JDM White Clear-Corner Lights Powder-Coated Factory 18" Rims Kenwood Double-Din CD/DVD/Navigation System w/ matching METRA dash kit Kenwood Bluetooth Hands-Free and Back-Up Camera Sony 1000W X-Plod Subwoofer w/ Kicker Amp Dash-mounted triple gauge pod Cloth/suede seats were swapped to heated and power leather seats The "Bads" - The replica Mazdaspeed bumper doesn't fit up that great. It's urethane at least, so it's nice and flexible...but still, it just doesn't line up perfectly. - Paint is about a 7/10. Just various nicks/scratches and a small area of oxidized paint around the trunk/rear-windshield. - Small area of oxidized paint on passenger side by the rear windshield/trunk. Hey what's up man! Long time no see. Still have that accord! Blew the trans though lol, sold it to my cousin. They put a new trans and the carb blew out, they put another one and its still running. Well over 300k! I drove the shit out that little car! free bump

$9,000 cash takes the car. Title in hand.
