Really strong clutch pressure?

I just got a Spec Stage 1 clutch installed and the pressure, to disengage the clutch is so strong its like I need to use both feet to depress the clutch pedal.

Once I get past the free play of the clutch it feels like I'm trying to push it through a damn wall.

I went to a shop near me. I've had alot of work done by them with no problems.

Anyone care to guess what the hell the problem could be? The pedal had some resistance with the stock clutch, and I think its more pronounced now with the Spec clutch installed.

take it back to them tell them they fucked something up. have them rebleed it. although it dosnet sound like air in the lines to me thats usually a dead pedal that wont return. but I'd take it back to the shop. if you paid they shoulda done it right.

i just drove a car with a stage one today, it felt pretty hard, but no where near what you describe. there must be something wrong with it.

Hydraulic clutch=need to be bled. Air bubbles=heavy ass clutch. Look in the clutch master cylinder and see if its topped off with fluid.
