Pics of your standalone wiring setups/discussion

Has anybody taken a tackle at ditching the brittle plastic connectors, crappy SMJ, and old sticky wiring with your own chassis wiring work from scratch? I know some people on this forum can do some pretty nifty wiring work. I was looking for thread with more discussion and pics (aka wiring porn) about connectors, power distribution location, planning, circuit integration, relays, switch panels, and other components.

I've relocated my fusebox and tucked some wires but i want to take it to the next level and get rid of all of it before I remove sound deadening, add a cage, paint the interior, and then rewire what I only need for a track car. What would be a good option for power distribution module?

Time to pull my FSM out again..
