Turn signals, dash lights failing

I have an '95 S14. I was pignosing the turn signals. The passenger side has no power going through it at all, but the driver side did.

You know how you're not supposed to touch positive with positive (correct?). Well, when those two wires touched, now there's no power going through the turn signals at all and for some reason my dash lights wont work at all. Even with the light adjuster next to the steering wheel.

I know the fuse for the turn signals is on the driver side fuse box: 10A. i checked it, but it doesn't look blown out? Even then, how the heck does anything have to do with the dash lights?
