I was given a diff as a present/ the guy was gunna junk it cause its leaking from the pinion seal so i grabbed it for free....well its an lsd diff from a j30 but i dont know from what year it could be.... It has the 5 bolt star pattern input/ output shafts .

i did my research to put it in my car i need the the shafts and need to swap out the open diff rear cover and use it to mount the diff.

I need to know what year the diff is from to order a new pinion oil seal

I know it has to be a pre 95 diff or 95+ diff

Can someone please help me !!!!
I tried to use the casting numbers to try to figure it out but no luck using that to help ID it

5 star bolt or pre95
6 star bolt is 95+

I took these pics of the diff before i took it off the guy's 240 i dont know to tell the differences in the housing except the axles but i heard you can put the j30 internals in the 240 housing i just wanna make sure i get the correct pinion (oil) seal
