Question Nismo S-tune coilovers for S14?

Did anybody use them on their S14? How is the ride? I am looking for a good starting point for autocross and drift... but I'm on the tight budget. Is a $640 a good price for the set? Right now I'm running stock and it's really hard to control the car during hard driving.

Should I get them now and just sell them once my skills grow and I have the money for the better setup? I would really like to get Tein HE but I wont be able to afford them for another couple months. Unless somebody knows the good place to buy them cheap. Best price I could find was $1200 shipped.

THX

I have the JIC FLT-A1 and really like them, I got mine for $900 in a group buy. Shop around in the GB section and you can find some deals.

640 for coils sounds like a good price;Supposing of course that the product is good.

I was also wondering about these coilovers, but from what i learned they are not ride height adjustable, just adjustable damping rate.

These are not adjustable in any way.... Thats why I'm not sure if it's even worth it.

What about Tein Basics? These are height adjustable... and not so much more expensive. How is the preset dampening force on them?

imo, i would just save up for the next month or so in your case, its better to do it right the first time, and it will probably save you money in the long run if you sell the springs/shocks combo you plan on getting
