So heres what the deal is. I took the head off of my 92 240sx to get a valve job done and resurface the head cause it was burning oil upon acceleration and hitting the 200k mark. I forgot to leave the front cover on but i remembered so i gave it to the shop late. When i got it back both looked resurfaced so i said ok.
Long story short i put everythug back together and I CANT STAB MY DISTRIBUTOR IN!!! its either advanced or retarded. I cant get it centered. I followed the youtube video for both upper and lower timing and the distributor followed by numerous threads on this issue, still no good. All of the marks on the chain are lined up to markings on the cams, idler sprocket and crank. Its at TDC on the compression stroke.

Im trying to get this running its almost been a year!
