Trans problems

Ok guys. I recently bought a new Trans for my s14 from a guy on here due to reverse going out in mine guy cleaned it was a perfect trans and no grinds or problems whatsoever. I get the trans and a exedy stage 1 clutch kit and put it all in. Replaced the clutch, pressure plate, pilot and throw out, rear main seal and the rear trans seal and a new b&m short throw. Then filled her up with redline MT-90. At first everything worked great. Then over the course of a week I developed a grind going into 4th and a god awful noise when decelerating with it in any gear. It's like a churning chattering noise and I can feel it in my shifter.

Anyone got any ideas? Or did I just purchase a junk trans?

Also does anyone know of a place to send your trans in and have it rebuilt?

Thanks for any help

Yea I had grinding problems with red line when going in to third... I would say change it for pensoil synchro and see if anything change and as for the shaking in the shifter upgrade to a brass shifter bushing if you haven't already

Amsoil or nothing... Bar none, the best gear oil on the market right now and it's yellow metal friendly. Make sure you purchase the GL4 compatible one as they do have a GL5 that is not ok to use.
