Black Smoke with catch can! HELP problems! (pix)

Iv had some big problems with my car idling, like it has a vacuum leak or something...changed all my vacuum lines and nothing, still idles the same.

I finally found out why my car idles so badly, it was becuase my oil catch can was not in a loop, it was off the valve cover T to open atmosphere. With this set up my car idles really badly. (jumps from 1000 rpm to 300rpm then dies)

With some tinkering, and looking at some pictures on the internet, i decided to put the open atmosphere side of my oil catch can into my intake (got this idea from the pictures i did all the scribbling on.)

NOW IT RUNS PERFECT!? ----> SIDE EFFECT? Black Smoke all the time from low rpms to high.

Well i dont want any black smoke so i put it back to original set up with open atmosphere(plugged) BACK TO IDLING LIKE CRAP!

Heres the pics, tell what you think and what am i doing WRONG>!??!?!
