i just got a 89 with a sr20det, tach doesn't work I've read a few things on this but i haven't found an answer, if i put a DOHC tach in my SOHC cluster will i have to do anything with my harness? i also read something on connecting a wire from the TAM to the positive ignition coil, has anyone done this?

im not getting any power to the wire that is yellow with red stripe
