How much to fix??? HELP ASAP possible buy

So I am interested in this 240sx and the guy is asking 2500 he said he is willing to go down he is moving out of state and cannot take the car with him there looks to be some front end damage lmk if it's worth buying one frame rail has a hole but is fixable

Yeah I agree 2500 is steep and it probably what he paid for it. 1500 max assuming It runs well.

That's not drivable. The chassis rail is munted. Unless you can shell out for a chassis jig to get it lined up and running straight, assuming the rail isn't at the point of snapping, say no and walk away.

If the engine is solid and it's 5spd I'd pay $300 for that, considering how fucked that frame rail is. Unless you have a body/fab shop wiling to do work for free, it's not going to be worth it to fix that frame rail. That much corrosion in one spot usually indicates more corrosion in other spots. I'd buy that with the complete intention of parting it out and then scrapping the shell.

Assuming it runs good 5-6 hundred max. Sold my shell without engine and interior for $325 earlier this year. But it was a clean one.

You can buy that frame section and weld it. Somebody on here sell it. Alott of car in snow belt area have this problem
